Tali Efrati

Director of Public Relations, Development and Recruitment of Resources and External Relations.

B.A in Biochemistry, M.A in Medical Sciences from Ben Gurion University.

For the past decade, Tali Efrati has lived in both Washington DC and Philadelphia in the United States. During these wonderful years she worked as a director at the Israeli Embassy and managed the relationship with the academy and with various communities. She was also responsible for promoting Israeli entrepreneurs in the American business world.

Prior to her trip to the United States, Tali set up a successful venture to organize and produce events for clients from abroad from the United States, France, South Africa, England, and Canada.

Loves to travel the world and explore cultures, to play the piano and to sit on the beach while admiring the sea.

Moshe Dolev

CEO of the Organization

A veteran educator, Moshe studied electrical engineering before beginning his career in the Eshel Hanasi youth village, where he ran the boarding school for 9 years.

He later ran the Mevoot Yam Marine Youth Village in Mikhmoret, which was the largest boarding school in the country for 11 years.

He merged the school in the village with a school in the Hefer Valley and built a joint school of more than 1,300 students.

Moshe holds an M.A. in educational management and has trained generations of boarding school educators and educational staff, as a principal, coach, counsellor and group facilitator.

His rank in his military service was lieutenant colonel,

A nature lover, enjoys trips in Israel and abroad, loves reading and is a strong believer in the work of education.

Orna Taos

Therapy Coordinator

B.A. Social Work at Ben Gurion University, and M.A. in Social Work at Tel Aviv University, specializing in Group Facilitation.

Orna Taos has worked in the field of boarding schools for the last 36 years. For 12 years she managed the “family homes” at Hakfar Hayarok.

She has been training boarding school staff for many years within the Central School for Employees framework in the Social Services sector of the Ministry of Welfare.

Orna Taos is the head of therapy and leads the therapeutic model at Hamifal.

She loves movies, books and people, and of course, spending time with her family

Shai Blumenthal

VP of Human Resources and Secretary of the Organization

Political Science at University of Haifa and Human Resource Management at the Technion. Shai Blumenthal joined the organization in 2012 and since then has lovingly cared for and developed the human resources division in the organization.

He has extensive experience in the educational management of society and the community in Israel, in the past he was a senior advisor to the Minister of Welfare and the employment director of a rehabilitation centre.

In his spare time, Shai likes to explore and learn about new interests.

רפי אטיאס

Rafi Atias

VP of Finance and Operations

B.A in Ergonomics at Jerusalem University, M.A Business Administration at Ruppin College. Currently, Rafi studies Chinese medicine at Ridman College. From 2012, Rafi managed the youth village in Afula for 5 years.

Previously, he was the deputy mayor of the city of Afula.

Rafi is a man of action and good will, and in his spare time he reads a lot, travels and spends time with his grandchildren.

אשר בן שימול

Asher Ben Shimol

VP of Education

B.A. in Special Education and Jewish History at the University of Haifa and M.A. in the field of Jewish Education and the History of the Islamic Countries at Schechter Institute.

He started his career about 42 years ago in the organization as a home parent, managed the youth village in Afula for 35 years, and, since 2017, is the head of education in the organization. In his spare time, Asher likes to play sports and read, but he mostly enjoys spending time with his grandchildren.
